Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Joshua Wildman, doing business as Glow Cadence ("Glow Cadence", "we", "us"), based in Jacksonville, Florida. By using glowcadence.com, creating an account, or buying anything from us, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. What we sell

We sell digital products: light-show files (.fseq) with matching music, songs, and vehicle sounds such as lock sounds, plus subscriptions and custom songs. Everything is delivered as a download or link; nothing is shipped.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (and old enough to make purchases where you live, or have a parent's permission). Keep your password private; you're responsible for activity on your account. Display names must be unique and may not impersonate anyone or include links, emails, phone numbers or business names.

3. Payments and subscriptions

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars.
The Monthly plan ($9.99/month) and Annual plan ($99.99/year; founding offer: $79.99 for the first year with code ANNUAL20, applied automatically at checkout) renew automatically until cancelled. Monthly includes all single shows, up to 6 single-show downloads per calendar month (US Eastern time; re-downloading a show already picked that month does not count again); bundles are not included. Annual includes unlimited single-show downloads and seasonal bundles.
You can cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then and won't be charged again. We don't give refunds or partial refunds for unused time; see our Refund Policy.
We may change prices for future billing periods with advance notice by email.

4. Custom songs

Public ($19.99): an original song and matching light show made for you. We may also offer it to others in our catalog.
Private / Exclusive ($99.99): made only for you. "Exclusive" means we won't sell, license or publish that song or show to anyone else. It doesn't stop us from making other original songs in a similar genre or mood.
We start work only after payment is confirmed. Delivery times are estimates.
Custom songs are created with AI-assisted tools (see our AI Notice). AI-generated music may have limited or no copyright protection. For that reason we grant you a license to the song, not ownership of copyright: a non-exclusive (Public) or exclusive (Private) license to download, play, and use it in your own vehicle light shows and personal, non-commercial videos and social posts. We make no guarantee that no third party will ever claim similar material, and we don't register our music with Content ID services.

5. What you can't request or upload

No copyrighted songs, lyrics you don't own, artist names, or "in the style of"/soundalike requests, and nothing that copies an existing song, artist, voice, or trademark. We may decline any request; if we decline after you've paid, we'll refund you.

6. Your uploads and public posts

You may upload only music and light shows that you made or have the rights to, and only music or light-show content.
No advertising, links, contact details, or promotion for other businesses; nothing illegal, hateful, sexual, or harmful.
You keep whatever rights you have in your uploads. By posting publicly, you give us a free, non-exclusive license to host, display, and let other users download that post on the site until you delete it.
Public posts appear only after review. Anyone signed in can report a post; reported posts are hidden while we review them. We may remove any content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. License to our products

When you buy a show or song, you get a personal, non-transferable license to use it in your own vehicles and personal, non-commercial recordings. You may not resell, re-upload, or share the files themselves.

8. Account termination

You can delete your account anytime by emailing us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, misuse the site, or attempt fraud or chargebacks. Purchases made before termination remain subject to these terms.

9. Not affiliated with Tesla

Glow Cadence is an independent creator and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. Tesla, Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y, and Cybertruck are trademarks of Tesla, Inc., used only to describe compatibility. Light-show features depend on your vehicle and its software, which we don't control.

10. Safety and use at your own risk

Run light shows only while parked, in a safe place, and where it's allowed. Follow your vehicle owner's manual and Tesla's safety guidance, local laws, noise and lighting rules, and HOA or property rules. Be considerate of neighbors and other drivers. You use our files at your own risk.

11. Refunds

All sales of digital downloads and subscriptions are final, and we don't offer refunds, except where required by law, for a duplicate charge, or for a file we can't deliver (we'll fix or replace it, and refund it if we can't). Full details are in our Refund Policy. Nothing here limits any rights you have under applicable law.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Glow Cadence is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any damage to vehicles, batteries, or property, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Duval County, Florida, unless the law requires otherwise.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll post the new date here and, where appropriate, email account holders. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

15. Referral program

Eligibility: you need a Glow Cadence account to refer. A person who opens your referral link or uses your code and creates a free account receives one free single light show download, with no purchase required. Signups alone earn the referrer no renewal credit. A referral qualifies only when the referred person, a new customer (no previous subscription or purchase with us), separately buys an annual membership. Monthly plans and one-off purchases don't qualify.
Rewards: your first qualifying referral automatically earns $20 off your next Annual renewal, and each additional qualifying referral adds $2, up to 11 qualifying referrals per year ($40 maximum). The discount applies once, to your next Annual renewal, and requires an active Annual plan at renewal. Monthly subscribers don't receive referral credit; it applies only when you buy or renew an Annual plan. If you switch to Monthly or cancel your Annual plan, any earned discount is held, and isn't applied to Monthly charges, until you're back on an Annual plan. After it's applied, your count resets; unused amounts don't carry over or stack. The referred person's free single download is one per account and is not contingent on any purchase.
No self-referral: you can't refer yourself, your own other accounts, or accounts using the same payment details or email.
One per new customer: each new customer can be referred only once, and the first code attached to their account is the one that counts.
No cash value: referral rewards have no cash value and can't be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash or refunds.
Review: we may withhold or review rewards for referrals that appear to involve the same person, household payment method, or account. A purchase is never blocked; a reward under review is held until we approve or deny it.
Abuse: fake accounts, spam, paid placement of referral links on coupon sites, or any other abuse voids the related rewards, and we may suspend accounts involved.
Changes: we can change or end the referral program with notice posted on this page and on the Refer a friend page. Rewards already earned before a change will be honored under the rules that applied when they were earned.
