Which cars do your shows work on?

Every purchase includes two editions: a Cybertruck edition (tested on a real Cybertruck) and a Model S/3/X/Y edition (built to Tesla's published light-show spec). If a song's S/3/X/Y edition isn't ready yet, its download says "S/3/X/Y version coming soon", and it appears in My Shows automatically when it is.

Do I pay twice for both editions?

No. One purchase includes both editions and every future update.

How do I get updates?

Open My Shows. It always serves the newest version, and shows an "Updated" date when a show changes.

Will the show move parts of my car?

Many shows move closures (windows, mirrors, frunk/trunk/liftgate, charge port). Each show lists what moves, and the comparison chart shows the differences between cars. Park outdoors with clear space around the car.

Are you affiliated with Tesla?

No. Glow Cadence is an independent business and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Tesla, Inc.

Troubleshooting checklist

If a show doesn't appear or won't play, go through these in order:

  1. Drive format: the USB drive is formatted exFAT or FAT32 (MS-DOS FAT on a Mac). NTFS and APFS don't work.
  2. Folder name: a folder named exactly LightShow sits at the root of the drive, not inside another folder.
  3. Matching names: the .fseq file and the audio file (.wav or .mp3) have identical names apart from the extension.
  4. Unzipped: you copied the unzipped files, not the .zip itself.
  5. Right edition: you used the Cybertruck file on a Cybertruck and the S/3/X/Y file on a Model S, 3, X or Y.
  6. No other drive contents in the way: try a drive with only the LightShow folder on it (Dashcam/TeslaCam folders on the same drive are OK).
  7. Port: use a USB data port (usually the glovebox port). Some ports only charge.
  8. Re-insert: unplug the drive, wait 10 seconds, plug it back in, then open Toybox → Light Show.
  9. Software: update the car to the latest software version.
  10. Closures not moving? Closures only move when the car is parked with doors closed. Some closures have limits per show, and the charge port and windows can pause if they get warm.
